Pros

Small sized corporation with good benefits including medical, dental, 401K and educational assistance.

Cons

Small corporation limited job locations. Most of the positions are working for the US Army. If you have never worked as a contractor before the working conditions may seem some what difficult to adjust to. Prior military experience is a plus.

Pros

Good pay Good immediate managment responsive managment Great employee benefits

Cons

Each contract, business unit, program manager is different - so your experience may vary Not like the old days at Aegis with yearly bonuses or paid luncheouns or gift cards for doing good work. It's just the nature of a company that has grown from a small one to one of the big boys.

Pros

Fellow employees were great to work with. Various corporate divisions such as Admin, HR, Benefits, etc., though grossly understaffed, worked hard for the employees. Benefits package OK if on the right contract.

Cons

Pay used to be adequate. With each passing year, pay for the general workforce dropping dramatically by changing job titles to a lesser classification, requiring less education and experience thus less pay. For example, co-workers position went from full-time requiring Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience to part-time requiring GED and 0 years experience. Actual job requirements remained the same. Being a "contractor" is greeted with increasing hostility and refusal to cooperate by the customer at the lowest levels where the work is done.
