Pros

Hard to think of anything. Benefits are good I guess.

Cons

Inequality between departments (and even within the same department) of ability to work remotely. This may be because management is trying to get people to leave so they don’t have to layoff staff. When people leave, they are, in most instances, not replaced. Company is continuously increasing the amount of work being outsourced to other countries. Morale is low. Uncertainty of future is high. Many great people working for a company that does not care about them. I would never recommend the company, as it is today, to anyone I care about. Too much concern over the future.

Some nice people working there, good place to start a career.

Cons

You're essentially working at telling people why their claims have been rejected. Sometimes this can be as cruel as telling someone with cancer the very sterile reason they are not owed money. Very emotionally draining and management are no support in this regard.

Work/Life balance was good, some great non-management people in various departments, good autonomy

Cons

Shrinking business and footprint outside the northeast, poor communication throughout the company, little to no direction from management team, ever changing business strategy with little thought towards implementation and effect on agencies, slow and useless reporting system
