      Pros

      After working at MAPFRE for over a year now I find that work is consistently fresh. There are not long periods where boredom or stagnation occur. Challenges arise unsuspectingly from new departments and the team I work with handles them so professionally. What a great way to enjoy my job.

      Cons

      slow on the uptake of new ideas no work at home programs yet. A nepotism policy preventing more people working at the company. Direct father daughter I can see, but not uncle to nephew or distant relatives..

      Money was not bad for a call centre.

      They treat the staff and customers like crap.

      Unfortunately you have shared your experience on the incorrect MAPFRE Glassdoor profile. MAPFRE Insurance is located in the US, not the UK. While we are a global company, we do have separate operations worldwide.

      Pros

      Is a great small company to work for. The culture here is different than some of the larger carriers where you can get lost in the shuffle. Having worked here for several years I find you can make a difference if you put yourself out there. The benefits and pay are very competitive in the industry. As the company continues to grow, there will be more opportunities for those who seek that path.

      Cons

      More cross communication and input among all our US claim offices. At times things are too centralized from our HQ.
