Pros

Residents and corporate core values.

Cons

At the Portland, OR location, management demonstrates a lack of essential leadership skills, particularly in fostering inclusion and respecting employees’ perspectives. When staff raise valid concerns about timely resident care, management often responds defensively and, at times, with reprimands. As a result, employees become reluctant to report important issues—such as inadequate nail care or supply shortages—out of fear of being criticized. This dynamic negatively impacts morale and contributes to staff turnover.

Pros

A really impressive senior leadership team with shared values. The company cares about ethical conduct. This is the place for people whose primary focus is quality resident care and great resident experiences.

Cons

An environment of disruption in the past three years. It has however started a stabilization stage. Some leaders are more focused on risk or profit than the mission values than others, so there is some variability in employee experience across the portfolio. That said, the new senior leaders are working to standardize.

Pros

A nice place to put your loved one. But that’s all.

Cons

But to work at. Not soo good, they keep cutting hours to save money. Then practically expect you to work doubles and pick up shifts when someone calls out. Sorry but if you’re not going to be dependable for me. I’m not going to be dependable for you. Don’t even get me started about the workers. A few nice girls yes. But if they aren’t on your regular shift. Don’t bother with good morning , or “hey how are you doing today” , you won’t get a response out of them. Just a Glare!!! All you get is demands and them trying to blame you for what little they can. Such as someone’s laundry not having a name on it when it wasn’t your fault because you didn’t put it there.
