Pros

Pay is great. Low premium for health insurance and 1 to 1 match on 401k with 100% vestiture. High-end communities. I would trust a loved one to live in one of their communities. Senior leadership is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Cons

They do not value their "human capital". Very sterile work environment. A lot of Monday morning quarterbacking from supervisors. Non-supportive culture. Be careful about "thinking outside the box" because their are dumb questions. At the end of the day it is a typical corporate environment. Achieve the ever-increasingly unlikely budget metrics and you will be fine. But you'll need a workaholic personality and some luck to get there. Forget "life balance".

Pros

When you work at MBK you are really working as part of a team, and your goal and purpose is "to exceed the quality, service and care expectations of those we serve. No matter what you do at MBK, your work helps provide a home for someone's loved one. There has definitely been a culture change within the last couple months and the mood in the office is very positive, fun and encourages team building and good working relationships. Work is always done, but it is nice to have a break for a coco bar, or to go bowing with your team.

Cons

There has been a lot of transition lately which can be viewed as a con, but I feel like our team has just grown closer and works together harder. I think that there can be great growth from this time although change and transition is always difficult.
