Pros

Vaccine Specialist Program currently, former contact tracer and former unemployment claims rep on other programs with Mass Markets. The programs that you are able to work with are good.

Cons

There are SEVERAL things that I would question about this company. I continuously asked about a handbook for this company/regarding payroll, benefits, time off, etc. It was NEVER received in my tenure here. Do I think they do not have one? No. I just think that the remote agents NEVER GET one because the company intentionally wants to keep you on the dark about your accrued PTO, benefits etc. They SELECT who they want to give this information to. PTO's important guys, and you have EARNED IT. ASK them how much you have. I guarantee, they will not VOLUNTARILY give it to you. Team leads -?? - I only have one word to describe them - UNQUALIFIED. Team leads are supposed to show show leadership and knowledge. These don't. Copying and pasting "upper management" daily notices to employees on a team and pressing "send" to the team requires no effort. Pay - This is never something that team leads should be involved in. PAYROLL is who should be the ones that employees should be addressing PAY concerns. Team Leads should NOT be the ones responsible for being all up in your grill about your pay, if your hours submitted and worked are "the same" as everyone else's. What I work is my business. I do NOT have to MATCH what my co-workers worked or did not work each week. MY HOURS are MY BUSINESS. Team leads are WAY too involved in payroll. That's a private issue that team leads have NO business being involved in. Pay Issues - Well - After reading everyone's reviews, I will say this. MY pay has been messed up 2 times in my tenure here. The FIRST time, my team lead "FORGOT" to put in my weekly time, so because of their incompetence or possibly "other reasons" I DID NOT get that paycheck at all THAT WEEK. I had to wait until the next week to get that paycheck. The company did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING gto take responsibility for that mess-up for time that I worked, but was not paid. Yes - a 40 hour paycheck delayed because of a team lead. Unacceptable. The SECOND time that my pay was messed up was about 1 month later, where my pay was SHORTED 143.00 by this SAME team lead. When I asked upper management what was going on and WHY is this an ONGOING ISSUE, I pretty much never received an answer. To resolve this, in the next paycheck, they only put in $88 of that $142 and then mailed the remaining in a paper check form. I mean, is this a company or what? why am I being paid in SPLIT payments for $142.00 ? Is this company struggling to pay their employees ? Let me say this- either this company thinks that they are dealing with "unintelligent employees" who will not take the time to keep track of their hours and money owed or there is something very "unethical" going on here. TOO MANY employees NOT getting paid. Are they remote or not ? I don't know, but I will speak for me. I WAS remote and these issues happened TWICE with me. Since then, I have stayed on upper management and payroll like glue, and employer or not, if this happens again, the company has been notified that this will go over the company's head to a corporation that regulates them and I have made that abundantly clear. Pay - not acceptable for the work that you do. I will say this in response to people that say that these jobs are "easy". This company has a way of luring you into a program "initially" promoting it as being very simple. This is "all" that you are going to have to do. easy, right? You may just be notating accounts or transferring to Tier 2 or escalations. You may do that for "a month or so", but then, they will actually have another training for that same program and place YOU in escalations or Tier 2 in that same program. That's what they do. There is no transferring department. You're transferring to your own co-workers. you're never transferring to a lead or a supervisor. They're making their employees" the "escalations team" and "Tier 2". Don't be fooled. This is a job that is going to use you until you're deflated. You'll never see a pay raise for more work, but trust me, the jobs that are being promoted as "easy" don't stay that way. You'll be shuffled around within your program and the responsibilities will grow. The pay won't. You mention IT issues. All the team lead will do is suggest the same things that you can find on google yourself. There IS no IT department - Trust me on this. Be wise and understand that this company "lures" with the promise of an easy assignment, weekly pay, etc. If that is what "lures" you, be aware that the "weekly" pay has now changed to bi-weekly and the "easy" assignment will not "stay" easy. You'll be shuffled around to different "departments" within your assignment with more responsibilities and doing the job of what sups and team leads SHOULD be doing themselves.
