Pros

The company is great to their employees. Each department is differently ran but overall, MDA is a great benefits provider and has employee resources that I have never had at any other company: bonus checks, full size gym, beautiful buildings. I enjoyed working there.

Cons

Most job opportunities at MDA that I found were in the medical center. Traffic is a problem if you work normal business hours. Human Resources is difficult to get in touch with, I usually wait 30 mins on hold for a simple question. Not many cons if you ask me.

Pros

Challenging Multi cultural Good teamwork Great employee resources/training Excellent benefits (medical is free - dental/vision $40 roughly per month) Employee perks

Cons

Limited growth: many assistants train or perform senior or exclusive assistant roles with no salary/title change. Most coworkers haven't been promoted in over five years. High turn over. Hard to switch into a different field. Coworkers lack education (only one of two with college education) Coworkers tend to be a little more rough around the edges

research is skewed

Pros

you get your exercise because you will be walking a lot within your work day

Cons

i felt that the research was skewed. the PI of our study didn't like any no as answers to their questions in their study so they made another coordinator go back and present the questions in a different way to the patients so that they would get a yes. I would also hear our PI in the workroom make fun of how the patients don't know what they are saying yes to but that as long as they say yes that she (the PI) is happy. She holds a big position in that particular department and I did not enjoy working near her.
