Pros

The pay is competitive and people are genuinely friendly and willing to help out. Most people stay here for many years!

Cons

Very department specific. I’ve had friends in different schools and roles than mine that haven’t loved it.

Benefit package is great, they have a pension, 401k (5% match) as well as the standard benefits.

Cons

You have to pay for parking, but it is capped yearly.

Working for a school garners a lot of great benefits, the people are nice.

Cons

The older staff are very resistant to change and it is hard to move from temporary to full time.
