We appreciate your insight. People considering working at Lincoln Lab do need to be aware that security is a major part of the climate. While this can be inconvenient at times, history and current events speak to the necessity.

We appreciate your comments and are pleased that you are happy overall. Hopefully you will find that promotion is a function of performance and contribution. In much of our work, the skills and knowledge achieved in getting an advanced degree can impact ability to contribute so there is often correlation between degree level and position. The desired end state is that we operate as a meritocracy where performance is the driver.
