      Great benefits, exciting projects that really make a difference

      Cons

      Too many meetings, too hard to introduce anything new. MS or BS degrees mean you are only an assistant to a PHD, not taken seriously. Big egos.

      Cons

      Well, with the OPM breach my security clearance isn't coming along very fast and I'm worried I might not get it

      Pros

      Lots of really smart people, many of them good to work with. Interesting work, good benefits

      Cons

      Like anywhere, there are people at LL who are great to work with, and people who aren't great to work with. Technical staff can be very demanding of people that work with or for them. Its a big place, so hard to generalize.

      Thank you for taking the time to comment. Your observation that it is hard to generalize is correct. There are times when the work is challenging and demanding as the outcomes are important. As strong work-life balance is an objective that we value, we hope that employees will work through appropriate channels to express when they feel that balance is amiss.
