We appreciate your comments. With over two hundred projects spread over numerous mission areas, it is likely that there is a project that would be more exciting for you. Internal mobility is a key aspect of working at Lincoln Laboratory and it is common for staff to work on many projects during their career. To be sure, there are times when a project may be at a point in time when the focus is narrow, but overall, the portfolio of work here is quite diverse.

Broad range of work and good people to work with. Allowed the freedom to research and develop on your own or in a collaborative type atmosphere.

Cons

LL still is based upon an "old school" type model with policies and procedures. Although I've seen some change in that over the last 10 years.

Good work-life balance. Good benefits. Everyone is friendly and most people believe in the mission.

Cons

Can be bureaucratic sometimes. Some of the senior staff are arrogant and think the world revolves around them.
