Pros

There is a "can do" attitude and many interesting projects. Most people there try and improve themselves and the ways in which they work. Management supports this through allowing employees to attend conferences and purchase useful applications.

Cons

Scientists are seemingly valued more than software engineers.

Pros

Very research driven and great for people who love an academic atmosphere but still want to create things that will impact an industry. People are all very friendly. Great job to have on your resume when seeking other jobs in the future.

Cons

Moving up seemed to be heavily dependent on degree.
