Pros

Benefits, Free T Pass, unlimited sick time (although don't try to use it), 401k Match, Pension, Medical

Cons

People, Environment, HR, Culture. Young staff that do not know how to handle working with others in an office. Lots of crying to HR (literally). The office frowns on chain of command and encourages people to treat each other on the same level (so much for years of work experience - not needed or appreciated here). Extremely liberal viewpoints exercised in hiring, day to day operations, emails and culture. Protection of snowflakes is a priority, Would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. Stay clear!!

Pros

Cutting edge science and technology.

Cons

Terrible culture in some labs. There are no norms for treatment of postdocs or graduate students.

Pros

Professors are wonderful, students are incredible, the campus culture is fun and inspiring. Working with students was an incredible experience. Great raises every semester.

Cons

Can be hard to keep up with coursework and teaching simultaneously. Very little bad to say about working here as a student.
