Pros

Never a dull moment - world leaders in every field, very collaborative environment, fantastic students from all over the world, great toys! I mean research equipment. It has gotten a bit more hierarchical in management style since the Chuck Vest era, but still a reasonably flat structure that is inclusive of opinions of students and faculty in initiatives and governance. Probably as close as you can get to a meritocracy.

Cons

Arguably still not enough women's restrooms. I hate the stairwells in my building - heavy fire doors and narrow stairs mean I take the elevator up one floor if I am carrying something. The stairs in the old part and the newer buildings invite running up and down but for those of us stuck in the 1960's era buildings, ick.
