      everyone I've worked with is amazing

      Cons

      government contracting in general is a bad place to be right now. Hopefully things settle down in the future but a lot of MITRE-ites are looking elsewhere.

      Good culture and the people care about the purpose of the FFRDCs and their work.

      Cons

      Have to keep yourself covered with projects - less help the more senior you get. The type of work may not appeal to everyone; advisory and analytical roles as opposed to actual development
