      Pros

      MITRE has a very broad set of Government sponsors and works in the public interest as a non-profit organization.

      Sometimes difficult to choose between many opportunities.

      Dreadful - going downhill faster than an Olympic skier

      Good work - working level staff

      Cons

      Upper management is a major disaster - not listening to the staff but only listening to each other (disconnected from the real staff). CEO has become a shadow figure - at one time had weekly updates all hands discussions but not the only time to see him os at his parking spot for his TESLA Model 3 Plaid. Recent reorganization rewarded highly under performing Managing Directors (N45x) where it became clear they were only looking out for themselves and their favorite 'pets'. Be very cautious about where you land at MITRE - some areas are much better than others.

      Good people to work with.

      Cons

      CEO took radical approaches over the last three years to drive company into the ground. Many good people have left. Politics and personal ego rules the C-suite. High turnover of officers due to unqualified leaders.
