Excellent company - Great employees, great compensation, and extremely fair
Pros
- Company has a very flat organizational structure. It's a very collaborative atmosphere and there is no "dog eat dog" mentality - A true meritocracy. MRE pays based on how hard you work and how much value you bring to the firm. - Defined career path. Getting to the next level of promotion is based on published metrics - Incredibly smart employees. MRE has some of the smartest people I've ever met - Opportunities abound. If you want to go into a different line of business or change your current specialty, MRE will work with you to get it done. - Flexible work schedule. If you need to take care of a sick child and work from home, you can do that. The same goes for any kind of family/emergency events. No questions asked. - Family environment. Everybody knows who everybody is and they get along.
Cons
- Company is very methodical about its growth and not particularly aggressive. Sometimes this is advantageous and sometimes this is a detriment. - Some travel may be required of consultants (could be seen as a pro or con)
