• Long work hours/days/No work-life balance - You will be expected to work long hours here, at least 10+ per day. Good luck trying to leave "on-time" after working 10+ hours for 2 weeks straight. It's a combination of expectations and just a lot of work to complete. Some employees even come in on Saturday's to keep up with the required work. (some are even asked to come in by management)
• Company culture - The company culture will be a shock to many employees. It mostly stems from the leadership with the way they interact and treat employees. This includes micromanagement, intimidation, and just straight up talking down on employees in front of the whole office door wide open and all. This breaks the business principle of "Praise in public, critique in private" - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
• No proper training - come in here and expect to know everything and pick up everything yourself. Prepare to learn on your own and if you don't know something prepare to get some heat for something "you should have known".
• Unorganized - It is hard to track down point of contacts and/or clarifications of business processes at this company. Ask 10 different people and you will get 10 different responses.
• Company seems to be stuck in the past when it comes to business technology.
• High Employee Turnover
• Inadequate office space/environment - Depending on your department, this could use some improvement.
• Lack of growth opportunities - You will be promised "growth" but it will mostly be all talk and little show. It is hard to grow when you are constantly being micromanaged and are not given the confidence needed to actually instill growth.
• Lack of structured career path/ladder - you may feel like this can be a dead end type of job (depending on department)
• Pitiful PTO hours - If you use sicks days this will deduct from your PTO (11 days total, per year)
