      Pros

      fairly competitive salarly. slow paced and stress free environment. you can (must) take a week off twice a year, so that I have found quite a lot of employees who put more value on their private lives than their career.

      Cons

      Since jobs at Kokusai are by large not challenging, young and passionate people tend to feel bored and then go to another company with pursuing their career goals.

      Cons

      Pay below market standards Bureaucratic, very very change-averse Local staff are not really respected, blaming culture rather rampant Low glass-ceiling, almost all managerial positions are filled by expatriates from Japan
