Pros

Hard to think of any really... I guess they have Health Insurance, which is a plus. They tolerate mediocre management, so no one really works hard

Cons

Management manages thru fear, The Digital and Marketing teams management teams manage thru fear, no leadership at all. People are told to "keep heads down and work" and to "not talk to peers in the office." It's literally a place to go and have your career die. Most people have been there for 15+ years, and promotions seem to happen every 5 - 7 years, thus one of the many reasons why no one is motivated.

Pros

The benefits are good so use them up.

Cons

So many cons to go through. 1. Pay is below the market. Starting salary is $30K, which is borderline poverty. Even when you get your first raise, you will be around an eye popping $32K! 2. Management is very strict on attendance and lateness. There is no grace period so even if you clock in 1 minute late, you're late. Make sure you're not late 18 times in a year because than they will lower your yearly raise and bonus (if the company is giving those out). 3. Bonus = 1-2% if you're lucky enough to get it. The list goes on but I'll stop there. If you ever get an offer just ignore it. If not you will regret it. Long live H.W.!

Pros

Decent work schedule, pension after 3 years

Cons

Brace yourself, this might be a lot. From the minute you clock in you will be tugged in 4-5 directions at once. Every item will either read as “Pending OFAC Urgent” or some BS like *****EXTREMELY URGENT***** and they are always remedial items that are unimportant and insignificant. Everything is treated like you have to do it then and there or the entire company will collapse. The turnover has been ridiculous in Sanctions, on the level 2 team in America 5 people (on a team of 12-15 state side) have quit in the last year. You’re ground down while working to the point where you’re either going to want to rip your hair out or have a panic attack. Need help from management? Too bad!! Their 2 favorite activities are conference calls and telling you that you’re doing things wrong without giving advice on how to fix it. They notoriously gatekeep their knowledge and one has to wonder why. Are they scared that others will surpass them and break up the bureaucratic hellscape they’ve created? Or are they just faking their knowledge and are too afraid to admit it. Another amazing delicacy is having to train offshore contractors who will ignore all of your training, get stuck in their ways and will not listen to feedback when they make mistakes, which in turn will create more work for the America based employees. The jobs openings for the American based employees have been opened since May and they will never be filled. Candidates have interviewed and have been great, but management refuses to hire!!! They’d rather step over dollars to pick up pennys. If you’ve made it this far and are still considering working here, just don’t.
