Pros

Decent benefits, pension cash plan, health benefits, salary and bonus. They have education and training available. They are investing in a large scale transformation effort to modernize their infrastructure and platforms and services.

Cons

Their operations are chaotic at times - simple requests for services do not happen without constant follow-up. Roles, and specifically accountability is not understood by the various teams and employees. People rarely take ownership of delivering an entire service or project/program and the result is delays and overspend. The current culture is toxic. Their relocation strategy mixed with the usual lack of organization and alignment has created a culture of employees who are wondering when their last day will be, not wanting to do much, and a fear of rocking the boat. Management seems very disconnected as to what happens 'on the ground'. They ask for transparency, but when they get it they don't remediate. Their 'open door' policy is often followed with inaction or the person reporting the issues can receive blow back for reporting the problems. The message becomes - don't report any issues and give the appearance of progress.

Pros

global company with deep pockets, for Capx at least. engaged workforce but that has really slipped in the last year

Cons

Old technology and not enough funding to upgrade it, senior management wants to reduce staff and higher in lower cost geographies without being able to accept a "bubble period" where staff at legacy sites will need to persist to bring the new staff up to speed. Their number one priority is hitting yearly cost reduction goes of personnel.

Pros

Decent benefit package, no need to go above and beyond as you will not be rewarded for it.

Cons

No advancement opportunities. Dead-end jobs. If you want a job with no future but not demanding, this is a place for you. Internal mobility is a joke as HR only wants you to make lateral changes. Senior management is nothing but bunch of overpaid cronies supporting each others.
