Pros

-Team management is very good. - Mostly good people if you fit the culture. -benefits are in line to better with other banks. -Hybrid schedule. - management does care about your well being. -new corporate strategy is well thought out. If you're on a growth team you'll kill it. If not, feel irrelevant.

Cons

- pay is below industry. Management does not believe in compensation increases. Promotion increases are quiet low. No compensation increases for loyal employees since before covid/inflation so purchasing power is down. -over engineered approval process with no approvers held accountable for anything. Everything gets pushed back to the front office. -low quality IT. Actually, it's painful. - very long hours for corporate banking. Almost in line with IB. You'll work every long weekend and 70-90 hours a week, some more.

Pros

If you are in the Markets or Corporate Investment Space - then the organization might offer some great experience and exposure to the industry with decent compensation. If you are in that space and fall into an under-represented category - then this might be an awesome space. As the organization is very white/male. The org has no idea how to address this and it thus creates a potential opportunity for you - if you can work through the culture.

Cons

If you are in any other type of support (non-revenue) line - then I advise you to seriously consider someplace else. The senior leaders do not fully understand what it takes to run a holistic business. which causes the support lines to be chronically understaffed and overworked. It's also a very old school (white male centric) mentality.
