Pros

Good benefits, vacation, decent pay

Cons

All e-mail to co-workers and customers must have the managers cc in and not justyour immedaite supervisor but there manager also. You will then have to spend numerous hours of the day answering their questions on why you did what you did. You are constanlty under the treat of being written up ,even for mis-spelling words. The managers do not want any feedback on pocess improvement, In there mindset it is do what we say or else. They infrom each employee to check everyother employees work and report if a co-worker makes a mistake. Even if you happen to have the best if you have the best customer responces times without errors. They go through support personel like changing underware. It is not because of the talent being fired ,but they can only take so much before they leave. They do not empower the it employess thr enslave. If you are in IT and you despertly need employment and you don;'t mind having your every mmove monitored it's a great place to work just don;t expect any thanks.

Pros

Good Benefits Great Expertise in Government Programs (Medicare, Medicaid) Opportunities to gain new skills to further your career

Cons

Depending on which department you work in, the pay & opportunities for advancement can be very disproportionate. Losing employees to area competitors because they pay more & offer better benefits packages. Lot of recent resignations of mid level & senior level management Recent merger so corporate culture isn't integrated yet. Customer Service level had declined in last few years Lot of negative response from the general public about the company since the merger

Pros

Good work-life balance. I felt that my good performance was rewarded. I had positive relationship with much of the staff and superiors. It is a good job for someone looking for a 9-5 routine.

Cons

Slow paced environment. Can be good for some, but negative if you are looking for action. The company grew quickly, and it seems to operate with a small company mentality. Lack of motivation on the part of some of the staff. Many processes are improvised and inefficient. IT department has not been able to cope with demands of other areas.
