Depends on imprint

Pros

- smallest of the big 5 publishers, which means it's slightly less corporate - great opportunities to move up if you hustle - great company perks like year around summer fridays, good health insurance, 401(k) match, discount on pet insurance

Cons

- huge discrepancies in lateral movement depending on imprints (often to get promoted your boss must like you on a personal level; people play favorites) - not a lot of concrete ways to track progress toward next level - some people have been at the company way too long and should retire
