Pros

- Work Life Balance - Non-monetary benefits (books) - Opportunity to be involved with lots of interesting work

Cons

I worked there through COVID, from late 2019 to late 2021. I lost a huge portion of my coworkers to layoffs, my work drastically increased. I went above and beyond to keep up. That said, despite Macmillan explaining in town halls after shutdowns that they were having one of their greatest years, and personally receiving stellar reviews, I received only a 1-2% cost of living raise, and just barely above the targeted bonus.
