Pros

Great executives and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Everyone loves what they do. Company is actively creating more programs that help provide more development opportunities for staff.

Cons

Ineffective middle management isn't addressed. Teams would function better and more work would be done if low performers and bad managers were addressed.

Pros

Macmillan features some really good health benefits, a great 401k program, and they publish some good books occasionally.

Cons

I work with an extremely small team that is under-resourced and has unrealistic sales goals. The office itself is also in pretty poor condition, and the company is pretty stingy with regards to salary increases and bonuses.

Cons

Not many cons. It would be great if there are more career opportunities within the company after the internship.
