Some of the nicest and most intellectual people I’ve ever worked with, not your typical mid-large bank where everything from the top is purely lip service, they do what they say.
Senior leaders care and engage.
Everyone works very hard, across all levels. Also a very flat structure, not a tiered hierarchy so you get incredible exposure.
Really competitive compensation.
Nice office buildings and locations.
Very interesting business and products, makes the work interesting no matter what department you work in.
Big emphasis on DEI as well and charitable contributions and initiatives, they care about local communities and the wider socio-economic remit.
Cons
Because the firm is small in headcount relatively speaking, all teams are quite lean so the challenge is workload and maintaining work-life balance whilst meeting all deadlines.
Can be stressful but no more so than any other investment bank or firm I’ve worked for previously.
