- opportunities given for employees at all levels - flat organisational structure - much more access to senior management than at other institutions

Cons

- cant escape not paying market - sometimes unclear vision / strategy for business going forward - formalization of training and systems still in their infancy

Flexible working, nice atmosphere. Lack of pressure, which is unusual for a city firm. Overall a nice place to work.

Cons

Difficulty in getting things done, too many procedures that don't work. Poor benefits. Not so great if you like variety. Overstaffed in the IT dept for the amount of work.

- Good work-life balance - Not that much politic when compared with other companies - flat hierarchy - don't have a lot of reporting lines

Cons

- Not being recognized by the work done - promotion system sucks - uncompetitive remuneration package when compared with other banks for existing employers; pay rise is low
