You will get an full understanding off all that goes into creating beauty products from ideation...to design...to manufacturing...to finally seeing the products you work on in stores! Fast-paced, challenging environment Entrepreneurial spirit Group of smart, talented, problem solving, hardworking people...some of which may become your closest friends Exciting clients and projects across many segments of the beauty industry....cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, haircare...a place that can and does it all!

Cons

The fast-paced, challenging environment is not meant for everyone The company is growing quickly each year so at times there are more projects than people to work on them The company is still trying to improve and create process, so people who like a corporate culture may not love the lack of process, systems, etc. - I consider this a positive because you get the opportunity to become part of building new processes. Timelines can be quick to meet the demands of clients and retail partners

Pros

I have met some of the most energetic and passionate people I know at Maesa. It is a very intense environment and because the pace is so fast, I did not get much formal training. I picked things up and ran with them. I like this entrepreneurial environment. This is a place to learn and grow. There are many different types of business models and a large variety of beauty and fragrance products. It has been great to see how many different brands work. Pay will depend on what you negotiate.

Cons

There has been a lot of turnover. The fact is that this type of pace and environment is not for everyone. Most roles, including my own, are very demanding and you have to be hungry for challenges and responsibly. If you get a manager you do not work well with, Maesa will not be a fun experience. There are a few people who make working very difficult. You will find these types everywhere, but it is worth noting they are here.
