Pros

The team that I work with are supportive, very smart, and able to conceptualize issues with ease.

Cons

It's a challenge because there are lots of changes and many people are jumping ship...Should I stay or go too? That is the question that I wrestle with everyday.

Pros

3% 401k match Company cell phone

Cons

Micromanaged to an extreme by OSD and leadership (for PFCs at least). There’s 3 different platforms you need to keep updated with what you’re doing, where you are and justification for that action. Every minute, every day. Mistakes aren’t tolerated. Flexibility is nonexistent. You’ll be oversold during the interview, management will underplay the microscope you’re under, then you’ll be treated like livestock. Onboarding is rushed, then required introduction courses are packed with information. You’re required to complete them in an hour each, you’re treated like a robot. When you couldn’t have possibly absorbed all that information and inevitably make a mistake, Magellan doesn’t have your back. You’re treated like you didn’t listen, like you’re stealing time.

Pros

The team that I get to work with everyday is great, very responsive and I love the environment that encourages teamwork and effective communication. Decent pay and PTO accrued.

Cons

Where to start..? I joined the company as a salaried employee and shortly after they switched me to 'hourly' without notice. The first half year of employment I did not do any work actually related to my position, as I, and the rest of my team, tried to cover for the staff that immediately quit upon being onboarded. It can be so difficult to get accurate answers or solutions from upper leadership, they make managers, supervisors & directors jump through many hoops. WFH is not flexible at all, they only allow you to work from 1 specific location. Software required for job is often outdated, slow. IT can be a hit or miss with this. Not much opportunity to grow within your designated team. No raises, or bonuses, EVER.
