Business Outlook
Pros
Worked at Magellan for 15+ years before being laid off at the end of last year. Was a pretty good company to work for overall. The salary was good and they had good benefits. The management overall was good-I had great supervisors which helped greatly. Everyone there worked together well even if they were in different departments.
Cons
It was a pretty stressful environment due to the goals each person had to achieve on different teams and in dealing with members and providers. This plus always being vigilant against making any PHI violations which was a good thing but could be trying at times.
