Pros

1. Amazing pay 2. Amazing work. People are really smart and know their stuff. Some amazing things are being made here which the world should have the opportunity to experience. 3. Really nice people - have not met one person who has made me feel uncomfortable. Very helpful and interesting. 4. FOOD! - Free snacks everywhere. Catered lunches are AWESOME. 5. Fort Lauderdale and Miami! :D

Cons

This is with any product/company/startup which is growing at this pace - work hours might be a bit much sometimes when deadlines are near but because the work is interesting - its okay. Also, Plantation is boring. Live near Fort Lauderdale or Miami if you have the luxury of owning a car.

Pros

- Amazing colleagues, when you get to talking with anyone at Magic Leap you will quickly realize that they are experts in their field and have incredible backgrounds. - Free food. Three times a week food is catered by various local restaurants. On the days there is not catered lunch, there is always snacks, cold brew and green tea on tap - The work is challenging and the problems we are trying to solve are complex. You will learn so much. - CEO seems to really care about the people and the company, he is a visionary

Cons

- Growing pains from hiring so many people so quickly. The org structures could use some work - Career paths are a little unclear, but that makes sense since we have not yet released our product

Pay and Benefits are good.

Cons

- Long hours and no work life balance (for groups who actually work instead of playing cards and waiting in line for orange juice and free food) - Lack of understanding by management of how to release product to consumer market, continual changes, and lack of focus and system level thinking - Poor corporate culture. Focus has turned from driven startup to one where people think they have guaranteed employment for life, CEO who references Star Wars more than he does business objectives, and lack of prioritization and understanding of what Magic Leap wants to achieve with this product - Excessive funding from investors has made the management think it is never going to dry up and they have lost focus on why the investors gave them money in the first place
