Pros

The culture and people within Mailgun are very friendly, down-to-earth, and willing to help. The PTO and benefits are decent, plus remote work or hybrid if you're close to an office. Each year completed with the company is rewarded with "experiences."

Cons

The pay is below market average and the sales organization has faced limited growth since the acquisition. There are now higher standards to achieve, which makes it nearly impossible for even top performers to advance. In terms of strategy, there is no clear direction and a reluctance to change historically failed tactics. It's also difficult to deny previous criticisms of favoritism and bias. Even when asked for feedback, some leaders patronized and overlooked your contributions if you weren't one of their favorites.

Friendly and supportive co-workers and leadership. I feel appreciated and essential to the organization. I'm able to work remote.

Cons

Exceptional organizational skills are necessary. The work is fast paced but I don't really see this as a con.
