Pros

Etagen has built an exceptional team and a product that can really become a breakthrough in the energy industry. It is fun and motivating to be part of a company that is growing fast (offices already moved twice) with challenging but very clear objectives. From executive management to technicians, everyone is working together and many engineers are truly world-class. All employees have a direct impact on the company success, and this a truly collaborative environment without any internal competition. What Etagen is trying to do is extremely ambitious, but has the right people to do so.

Cons

It is going so fast that first few months can be overwhelming.

Pros

The people I interact with are supportive, professional, respectful, and intelligent. They also care about the work they do and our collective success. It may be the startup environment (my first) but this is a Team that works very well with each other. I am challenged with both workload and complexity and find it stimulating and enjoyable. Good managers can make or break a job and I don't think I could have a better manager. I spent most of my working life with large, public corporations. This is a huge breath of fresh air for me. I love the culture, teamwork and wish I had been here sooner!

Cons

Anyone familiar with the area knows that the traffic is bad and the cost of living high. Other than location, there aren't any cons worth mentioning.

Pros

Super smart and talented engineering and business teams. Collaborative work environment that is very data driven. No ego problems typical in fast-growing companies. Pace is fast and I'm asked to do a lot, both of which I like and enjoy.

Cons

Pace is fast and there's a lot to be done, which might not be for everyone.
