Pros

Work with smart, talented individuals. Work on large complex electro-mechanical hardware. Work-life balance is up to you (some people are workaholics, others not so much). People that are lazy and/or incompetent generally don't last too long here (though there are some exceptions)

Cons

Pay is always on the low end of acceptable. You aren't going to retire early working here. Slow progress, growing pains. Some parts of the company and a bit of a mess and disorganized.

Pros

One of the main reasons to work at Mainspring are the people; Everyone is patience and kind and have the drive and the mentality to push the envelope of innovation without sacrificing their integrity. We work together as a single unit where everyones opinion matters and the energy that it creates is empowering.

Cons

Location of the building isn't the best, but it makes up for it by keeping costs low so that the future financial opportunities are shared among the people who are building this place!

Pros

Full of some of the smartest, most humble, most hard working people you'll ever meet. The mission is clear, and there are a ton of challenging problems and exciting technologies to work on. People are generally excited and motivated to keep learning, iterating, and trying to solve them.

Cons

Company culture can feel a bit impersonal sometimes. People are motivated by the work, and really driven, but that can sometimes result in a culture that feels a bit dull or awkward when it comes to anything other than the technology itself.
