HR is childish and petty. "Job security" means oppressing good ideas and good people below you rather than actually bringing something to the table. Intelligence is considered a threat rather than an asset. Managers are out of touch and ineffective; more concerned with what's best for them than what's best for their department or organization as a whole. Departments are constantly at each other's throats, uncooperative and unsupportive. If you have any passion, drive or moral integrity; you will constantly feel hopeless, frustrated and disappointed.
