      Pros

      Great relationships with fellow staff, natural teamwork (not forced), my schedule.

      Cons

      Management is the culprit for most of the negativity in the BOH. Talking to HR is a complete waste; either they’re “not in the office”, blow you off or they give you trust issues, because they’re eating lunch with the manager that you’re having problems with (not impartial). Must definitely the pay is a problem. When they give you so many tasks and including training new employees, they want to pay you scraps instead of matching what you’re capable of.

      Benefits were reasonable. Pay was low.

      Cons

      Senior Leadership is absolutely awful. The company has a lot of drama, and you do notice it considering they are an independent vs big box brands so the team is much smaller. The CEO has a narrow vision and does not care for the employees that keep the hotels running.
