Pros

Benefits. Big company with mostly friendly staff. HR actually listens and cares. Decent money.

Cons

They (corporate) keep stripping away our perks. We don't get employee meals anymore, or meals at a discount during our shift, which is insane for food and bev. They installed some mini-supermarket where we get $50 a month to spend on gas station snacks. The point of sales system is by far the worst any of us have ever used. It's slow, hard to keep organized and leads to many errors.

Great relationships with fellow staff, natural teamwork (not forced), my schedule.

Cons

Management is the culprit for most of the negativity in the BOH. Talking to HR is a complete waste; either they’re “not in the office”, blow you off or they give you trust issues, because they’re eating lunch with the manager that you’re having problems with (not impartial). Must definitely the pay is a problem. When they give you so many tasks and including training new employees, they want to pay you scraps instead of matching what you’re capable of.
