      Pros

      Malwarebytes is by far the best place I've ever worked. The people are overwhemingly positive and respectful, work/life balance is great, and compensation and benefits are excellent. The company operates on a "freemium" model, ensuring that their great products are accessible to everyone. The company culture is youthful, laid-back, and inclusive. I've personally had plenty of opportunities for professional growth.

      Cons

      Typical growing pains of a company transitioning from startup mode to enterprise mode--communication and organization need to be improved, but have gotten better since I started.

      Pros

      Malwarebytes is my favorite job. Even on my worse days, I still love it. Upper management makes it a point to get to know every single employee even on a social basis. The culture is fun. We get together once a month for social events including, sporting events, picnics, laser tag etc. In my own experience, hard work is not only recognized but is rewarded with greater responsibilities and the pay to match. I feel like I have been given fair opportunity to grow within the company. Any concerns I have had about my job has not gone unheard and management has always tried to work with me to rectify the situation. I feel very fortunate to love what I do!

      Cons

      In every office environment (so not really a deal breaker) there is always that one person who LOVES to micromanage and violate a persons personal space by standing over them. . There are also those who try to force their personal opinion or way of doing things on the employee. I feel that if the tasks can be done in a different and yet still effective way AND still produce the same results, the employee be allowed to think for him or herself.

      Pros

      -Warm and friendly team driven working environment. Company has stacked snack bar with fridge, and OTO policy! Management really supports any time off for personal/family issues that need to be resolved. Employees really do come first. -Upper management listens to employee's ideas and suggestions for improvement -Experienced + Intelligent Upper Management. Love my boss and the CEO. Note: CEO received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2014 Award in the Emerging category in Northern California.

      Cons

      -Pay needs to be increased! It is tremendously hard to live off of this wage, much lower compared to national average.. -Recently included a 401K plan, but the matching % is low. -Product releases are continuously delayed. -The company is still young. Give the company time and I expect them to be huge in five years. Potentially even bought by an established powerful security company.
