Pros

- Immediate exposure to clients. Unlike in many other consulting firms where junior consultants don't have direct contact with the clients, at MS, you will be in meetings with the clients from day 1. Literally on my first day, I was in a meeting with the client at the time, who was an upper-level executive at a bank. - The upper management is very approachable. If you have any sort of business/personal issues or even preferences for a certain topic/project, they do their best to accomodate you. - You get exposure to many different fields (especially in the financial sector, if that interests you), so if you're hungry to learn, there is a lot of opportunity for growth. - Very generous (European-like) PTO and medical insurance. I think this is one of the biggest perks of working for a Spanish company and may overcome some of the other shortcomings of the firm. - The promotion process is very transparent. You know exactly when you can expect to become a senior, manager, etc. - International environment. You get to work with people from many different backgrounds (Europeans, Latin Americans, Asians, etc.).

Cons

- The biggest con, in my opinion, would be the pay, which is below that for the other, larger consulting firms prevalent in the US. However, I think this is to be expected, as we are a more boutique firm (at least in the US). - The standard hours (9 am - 7 pm) are also longer than the typical hours for other firms. Your hours largely depend on the project you're working on, but having to work overtime is not nearly as common nowadays as it used to be (hence the older, negative comments about this).

Pros

One of the best things about working at Management Solutions is the people you work with. MS prides itself with keeping a young and dynamic team of professionals with a varied skillset. Additionally, given the relatively small size of the US office, you will be exposed to challenges and responsibilities typically reserved for 3rd or 4th year associates in larger firms.

Cons

Given its smaller size, you will be working longer hours than at other firms considering you will be assuming more responsibilities than what is typically expected from an entry level consultant.

Pros

- Exposure to responsibility and client from first minute - Amazing team of young smart people from all around the world - Chance to learn from other cultural ways of work such as the European and South American - Interesting training program taking place during first work year where you get the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics that will help you become a more complete consultant

Cons

- Management Solutions is still a small consulting firm within the US, in other words, the amount of clients is limited and most of them are financial institutions
