Great company without too much corporate "stiffness"

Pros

Great company that encourages employees to better their standing with insurance classes and certificates. Manhattan competes with the biggest insurance companies, but has retained the feel and comfort of a family-owned company.

Cons

Most new employees will have parking spots on the roof of the garage which is uncovered.

Pros

The overall working environment at Manhattan Life is quite relax and casual. Management is family oriented. Office is also very conveniently located even for people who live far west especially when construction on 290 is completed.

Cons

The casual style here may not suit one who is looking for the "corporate" feeling.

The company continues to grow through smart acquisitions and decisions by the top brass. The ManhattanLife brand is continuing to grow and will become an even more recognizable name within the insurance market in the near future.

Cons

It can get pretty humid in Houston.
