Clients are charged rock-bottom prices therefore company has to make it up with volume. As a result technicians are increasingly required to produce more, meaning more hours need to be worked with the only incentive being overtime pay. There is zero incentive for greatness and an increasingly number of workers do just enough to avoid being written up. Very frustrating environment to want to excel in.
