Pros

ManPower offers it's employees training, support, excellent communication, and outstanding leadership. They pride themselves in making sure employees are performing well and that they are happy with their position.

Cons

I didn't experience any issues that needed addressing regarding Manpower's management or ability to train. I think they offer the possibility for career growth, but could focus on fostering that growth.

Pros

great work/life balance - taking your time off is encouraged great opportunities for continuing ed via the TDC In all fairness, the metro sales initiative at manpower is extremely well supported. MBA's behind the scenes, excellent infrastructure, comprehensive training - the works.

Cons

That said, at least in NYC, the goal of capturing a large amount of marketshare is fundamentally flawed. The strengths of the Manpower brand (as well as the product - staffing ludicrously low-end workers en masse,) simply do not translate well to NYC. NYC is, of course, a fractured market - it's not like a competitor holds 60% of the big contracts in the city. You're a cog with a serial number in the great big machine that is Manpower..and anything you DO sell is delivered by exceptionally underpaid recruiters with little incentive to produce.
