Pros

The company brand itself is reputable, and the operational teams work hard to maintain profitability despite severe leadership challenges. Good baseline business model, but completely overshadowed by local management.

Cons

The local leadership team has created a deeply hostile, toxic, and unprofessional work environment driven by micromanagement, favoritism, and psychological harassment. Incompetence & Strategic Interference: The Country Manager lacks basic market connections and business acumen. She routinely overrules the strategic decisions of experienced business leaders, forcing teams to prioritize high-profile clients with poor market reputations and unworkable terms over smooth, highly profitable accounts. She regularly claims credit for successful initiatives she did not lead while actively undermining her team. Disruptive Hiring Practices: Recruitment pipelines are heavily mismanaged. Management interferes in finalized shortlists and cancels interviews over standard scheduling flexibility. In one instance, a top candidate was summarily dropped simply for requesting a 1–2 day adjustment due to a medical procedure. This severely damages the company's employer brand. Severe Cronyism & Favoritism: Account distribution is entirely biased and based on personal, non-professional relationships (such as hometown connections and social hobbies). Lucrative accounts from departed staff are systematically handed to a preferred Business Development Manager, who is falsely credited as a "Top Salesperson" despite failing to secure new clients or expand the market. The Head of Sales provides zero objective oversight, merely acting as a puppet to the Country Manager's preferences. Harassment, Retaliation, and Social Isolation: Employees who decide to resign are treated as adversaries. The Country Manager and BPO Manager actively bully departing staff, issue threats, and attempt to maliciously sabotage external reference checks. Furthermore, management enforces a petty "us versus them" culture, forbidding remaining team members from socializing or having lunch with colleagues who are leaving. Linguistic Bullying: The BPO Recruitment Manager consistently contributes to this toxic culture by using language proficiency as a tool for public mockery. She routinely humiliates staff regarding their English skills, aggressively telling them they are incompetent or unsuited for their positions.
