Micro management and total metrics mentality. Minimal, if any, training is provided. "Trial by Fire" environment. Management is not supportive unless you are a part of their select inner circle. Office environment is almost clinical in that you go to work, do your job, report your achievements/status, and go home. No teamwork. No camaraderie. No effort made to interact with others except on a need-to-do-so basis. Very, very sterile

Pace of change is rapid. Not really a con, but if you are looking for a black and white job description, this may or may not be a good fit. In the mid-ranks there can be internal power-plays and posturing, but it can be overcome.
