Technology leader, great management team, the best culture and work life balance I have experienced at any company. Everyone, including the CEO, is approachable and helpful. Lots of people here with long tenure, including sales people. Fun annual company events around the world.

Pros

MariaDB is the best database product, and the company is run by execs with a ton of experience in their field. The company seems to be a more professional place to work than it was when I started years ago - the managers seem to be motivated with the best intentions. People around me get promoted and I’ve had great opportunities to work with huge customers and make good money. Feels like family most days.

Cons

It’s a start up and while red tape seems to be minimal, you have to do a lot of things in your job to help the team that maybe you wouldn’t at a larger company. Doesn’t bother me or most people there...cultural fit is important.
