Pros

Positive energy, competitive, tools and mentors to help you succeed, perks of being a fortune 500 company (expenses covered, benefits, great vested 401k match, ect. ), lots of room for opportunity

Cons

office politics, can sometimes feel like boys club. frustration with resources and product limitations. Not very competitive pay.

Pros

The investment portfolio does well masking the results of marginal operational results so the quarterly reports look great. If you don't get backstabbed by some, good people can be found to work with. Okay place to hang for a while.

Cons

Top down, do as you are told and then punish at review time no matter what the accomplishment, culture. Highly dispersed / scattered teams supported with lousy Telecom and Audio Visual. So much outsourcing of core support capabilities employees do 200% of work to cover for poor performing outsource vendors. Lots of executive rah, rah about "the style" but not something that is relevant in the org. Reorgs and RIFs happen while execs exhort earnings.
