Archaic, bland, lacking emphasis on growth opportunities/training

Pros

- PTO (18 days, optional 5 days unpaid) - Many of the people make great co-workers - 401k match + profit sharing (9% after 1 year)

Cons

- Limited attention to actual training and development - VERY far behind the times with almost everything - Culture is bland, stagnant, not innovative or creative If you're looking for an enjoyable place to work, I would recommend against Markel.
