2yWe are pleased that you found working with our residents a positive experience — they are the heart of Marklund. And noting that the culture with your coworkers was positive as well is good to hear. We do want to address the point you made about the pay. In addition to merit increases and a $1.25/hour rate increase mandated last year by the State of Illinois, we have been offering an increased pay rate to caregivers at our Marklund Philip Center which will continue through June of 2025, when the residents will be moved to our newly expanded and renovated facility in Elgin. Depending on the shift our Caregivers at Philip Center can currently make up to $23.25/hr.
