Worst employer I've ever had.

Other colleagues. Part-time shifts. Knowing that I wasn't going to be there forever.

Cons

Unavailable management, no communication, terrible pay schedule, assigned holidays without notification or consultation. My shift was extended without checking with me, by management the day of my shift, and I had to push and chase throughout the day to leave at my originally scheduled time. There was absolutely no regard to my life outside of work (ever). Honestly the worst employer I've ever had from head office to shop floor.. never felt more like a cog in the machine than at M&S Hammersmith. It's one face for customers, and another for employees. I wouldn't even recommend a 16 year old work here as their first job unless you want to learn what *not* to tolerate.

Limited annual/sick leave, getting tighter on benefits to restrict staff.
